Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 October 2026

In short

  • By using LiveChatBot you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a business, you agree on its behalf.
  • Your content stays yours. You are responsible for it, and for what your AI Agent tells visitors.
  • The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running but cannot promise it will never fail.
  • Payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and LiveChatBot (“we”, “us”) about your use of LiveChatBot, including our website livechatbot.in, the dashboard, the chat widget, the Android app and related features (together, the “Service”). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

2. Your account

  • Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite.
  • Tell us straight away at support@livechatbot.in if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
  • One person or organisation may not create many accounts to get around limits or a suspension.

3. Using the Service

You may use the Service to talk with visitors and customers of websites you own or are allowed to manage. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and all laws that apply to you, including privacy, consumer protection and marketing laws.

When you install the widget on a website, you are responsible for telling that website’s visitors what is collected and why (for example in your own privacy notice), and for getting any consent the law requires. For visitor data, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

“Your content” means everything you or your visitors put into the Service, such as chat messages, files, contact details, saved replies, flows and knowledge base articles. You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display it only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to use your content in this way and that it does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.

5. The AI Agent

The optional AI Agent writes replies using a third-party AI model and the knowledge base you provide. Please keep in mind:

  • AI answers can be wrong. They may be incomplete, out of date, or sound confident while being incorrect.
  • You are responsible for its replies to your visitors, including prices, promises and advice. Check your knowledge base, test the AI Agent, and keep a human available for important questions.
  • Do not use the AI Agent for medical, legal, financial or other high-risk advice without a qualified person reviewing it.
  • Do not hide the fact that visitors may be talking to an AI where the law or fairness requires you to say so.

6. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the name LiveChatBot, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.

7. Free plan, paid plans and fees

We currently offer a free plan. Its features and limits may change over time, and we may limit or stop free accounts that are inactive or misused.

If we introduce paid plans, prices and what each plan includes will be shown before you buy. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Prices are shown with or without taxes as stated at checkout, and you are responsible for applicable taxes such as GST. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal. All payments are final and non-refundable, as explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Third-party services

The Service connects with other services, such as AI providers, browser push services, and integrations you choose to turn on. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable because of maintenance, updates, or problems outside our control. We may add, change or remove features from time to time. If we remove an important paid feature, we will try to give you reasonable notice.

10. “As is” disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. You should keep your own copies of anything important.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000 if you have not paid us anything. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses if a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, with notice where reasonable, if you break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use puts the Service or others at risk, if payment fails, or if the law requires it. When an account is closed, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable period. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring a claim locally.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

16. General

These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these Terms without our permission; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of our business.
