Getting started
Is it free?
Yes. Every account includes 2 websites and 100 visitors per website every month for free, with every feature. No credit card is needed.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes: create an account, copy one line of code or install the WordPress plugin, and the chat appears on your site.
Does it work on WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace?
Yes. See the install guides. It works on any website where you can add a script.
Do I need a website?
No. You can share your full-page chat link on social media, in emails or as a QR code.
Do I need a developer?
No. If you can paste text into your website builder, you can install LiveChatBot.
The chat bubble is not showing. What do I do?
Purge your cache, check the code is just before </body>, and copy the code again from your dashboard. See troubleshooting.
Live chat and inbox
How many websites can I add?
Two websites are free. Each extra website costs ₹99 for six months. All websites share one inbox.
How many agents can I have?
Invite teammates from the Team page. They sign in and reply from the same inbox.
Can two people reply to the same chat by mistake?
Use “Assign to me” so everyone can see who is handling it.
Can I see what visitors type before they send?
Yes, the typing preview shows their message as they write.
Which languages does the widget support?
English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese are built in, and you can edit every line of text.
What happens when nobody is online?
Set operating hours. Visitors see when you are back and can leave their email. The AI Agent can still answer simple questions.
AI Agent
Does the AI Agent need setup?
A little. Import your FAQ or website pages, add guidance on tone, then test in the playground before turning it on.
Will it make things up?
It answers from your knowledge. If it is not sure, it hands over to your team or asks for the visitor’s email.
Can I take over a chat from the AI?
Yes. Any teammate can press Take over at any time.
Can I switch it off for one website?
Yes, the AI Agent is on or off per website.
Visitors, leads and Flows
What is the lead score?
A number from 0 to 100 based on pages viewed, time on site, return visits, key pages like pricing or cart, and whether they left details or chatted. 60+ is “hot”. See how it is calculated.
What is a Flow?
An automatic message that pops up at a moment you choose, like a first visit or when someone is about to leave.
Where do collected emails go?
To Visitors → Subscribers, and onto the contact. Send them elsewhere with webhooks.
Can I connect Zapier or Google Sheets?
Yes, with webhooks. Paste a Zapier or Make webhook URL in Integrations.
Mobile
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, an Android app with alerts in about a second. On iPhone, install the web app to your home screen.
I am not getting alerts on Android.
Allow notifications, and turn off battery optimisation for LiveChatBot in Android settings.
Billing
What counts as a visitor?
A person is counted once per month, the first time they open a page with your chat. Returning in the same month does not count again.
What if I go over the limit?
Your site and visitor tracking keep working. Only new chats with over-limit visitors pause until next month or until you add a visitor pack.
How do I pay?
Securely through Razorpay with UPI, cards, net banking or wallets.
Are payments refundable?
No, payments are non-refundable. See the Refund Policy.
Privacy and security
Who can see my chats?
Only your account and the teammates you invite.
Do you sell data or show ads?
No. We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Email support@livechatbot.in from your account address to see, export or delete your data.
Do I need to update my own privacy policy?
Yes, mention that your website uses live chat and visitor analytics. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.
