- No spam, scams, illegal content, harassment or attacks on our systems.
- Be honest about AI. Do not use the AI Agent to mislead people.
- If you break these rules, we may remove content or suspend the account.
This policy sets out what you may not do with LiveChatBot. It applies to every customer, team member and anyone else using the Service, and it forms part of our Terms of Service. It is not a complete list: if something is harmful or illegal, do not do it even if it is not named here.
1. Illegal and harmful content
Do not use the Service to send, store or share content that:
- is illegal where you or the recipient are, or helps someone break the law;
- sexually exploits or endangers children in any way;
- promotes terrorism, violence, or hatred against people because of who they are;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- sells or promotes illegal goods or services, such as drugs, weapons or stolen data.
2. Treating people badly
- Do not harass, threaten, bully, stalk or abuse visitors, team members or our staff.
- Do not share someone’s private information without permission.
- Do not discriminate against people unlawfully.
3. Spam and fraud
- Do not send unsolicited bulk messages or use the Service to collect emails for spam.
- Do not use phishing, fake login pages, or chats that trick people into giving passwords, card details, OTPs or other sensitive data.
- Do not run scams, pyramid schemes, fake giveaways or misleading offers.
- Do not pretend to be another person, business, bank or government body.
4. Honest use of AI
- Do not set up the AI Agent to claim it is a human when a visitor sincerely asks, or to impersonate a real person.
- Do not use it to give deliberately false or deceptive information, or to manipulate vulnerable people.
- Do not use it to produce content that this policy forbids, or try to get around the safety limits of our AI provider.
- Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions.
5. Security and abuse of the Service
- Do not upload or spread malware, viruses or other harmful code.
- Do not try to access accounts, data or systems you are not allowed to, or test our security without our written permission.
- Do not overload, disrupt or attack the Service, including with denial-of-service attacks.
- Do not scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Service, or use bots to create accounts or send messages, except through features we provide for that purpose.
- Do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not create many accounts to get around plan limits or a suspension.
6. Visitors’ privacy
- Only install the widget on websites you own or have permission to manage.
- Tell your visitors what you collect and why, and get consent where the law requires it.
- Do not ask visitors for highly sensitive data, such as full card numbers, passwords or health records, through chat unless you have proper safeguards and a lawful reason.
7. What happens if the rules are broken
We may investigate suspected breaches. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where possible we will tell you first, but we may act straight away to protect people or the Service.
8. Reporting abuse
If you see LiveChatBot being used in a way that breaks this policy, please tell us at support@livechatbot.in with the website address and as much detail as you can. Questions about this policy can go to LiveChatBot at the same address.
